m.は2014年、和歌山県・白浜で始まりました。 画家Miwa Nishiが、自分の制作場所であり、人を迎える小さな場所としてつくったアトリエカフェです。 店内は絵画制作のアトリエであり、小さなギャラリーでもあります。Miwaの作品に囲まれながら、コーヒーや自家製ベーグル、ケーキを楽しんでいただけます。 ベーグルや焼き菓子は、海外でのアート活動や旅の中で出会った味や記憶から生まれたもの。天然酵母を使い、店内で少しずつ焼いています。 また、アトリエでは少人数のPainting Experience（絵画体験）や小さなイベントも行っています。絵を描くのが初めての方も、旅の途中に気軽にご参加いただけます。 絵を見ること、描くこと、コーヒーを飲むこと。 それぞれの時間で、この小さな場所を楽しんでいただけたら嬉しいです。 :::::::::: m. began in 2014 in Shirahama, Wakayama. It was created by painter Miwa Nishi as both a place to work and a small space to welcome people. Today, m. is a combination of painting studio, small gallery, and café. Visitors can enjoy Miwa’s artworks along with coffee, homemade bagels, and cakes. The bagels and baked goods are inspired by flavors and memories from Miwa’s travels abroad as an artist. They are made in small batches using natural yeast. The atelier also hosts small-group Painting Experiences and occasional events. Beginners are very welcome, and travelers are invited to join casually during their stay in Shirahama.
